We had six people and gear inside this tent on a windy ridge, and the external pole design kept everything stable even when gusts hit hard. The dome shape gave us enough headroom to sit up and play cards too.

Three of us set this up at 14,000 feet in gusting winds and the dome stayed rock-solid all night. The fabric handled the constant flapping without any signs of stress, which gave me real peace of mind.
