Pitched the fast fly setup with just this footprint and the fly on a soggy overnight, and my sleeping pad stayed completely dry underneath. The corner grommets line up perfectly with the pole tips, so there's no fumbling in the rain. Worth it just to keep the tent floor from getting chewed up.
