The vertical baffles really do keep you from sliding around, which I didn't expect to notice but definitely did on a sloped campsite. Slept on this for four nights in the low 30s and stayed warm the whole time, which I didn't expect from something this thin. The vertical baffles keep it from feeling like a pool float, and it packs down small enough to strap to the outside of my pack.

I was skeptical about such a thin pad holding warmth, but the THERMOLITE insulation actually kept me toasty down near freezing. The vertical baffles make the surface feel way more stable than my old mummy pad, no sliding around. Packs down smaller than my water bottle too.
