I'd been putting off washing my rain jacket for months because I didn't want to wreck the waterproofing. This cleaned it up nicely on a gentle cycle without any residue, and the shell beaded water again on my next hike. Ten ounces goes a long way too.

Ran my rain shell through a gentle cycle with this and the beading came right back after a quick tumble dry. It doesn't leave any soapy residue or smell, which is why I trust it on my wet weather gear.
