I got caught in a downpour on a two-night backpacking trip and stayed completely dry inside this thing. The three-wire hoop keeps the mesh off your face even when you're zipped in tight, which made a huge difference on a muggy night. Packs down small enough to cram into the bottom of my 40L.

Slept in this on a windy ridge in October and the three hoops kept the walls off my face all night. Packs down smaller than my old tent and weighs next to nothing in the bottom of my pack.

Slept through a windy night at 11,000 feet and stayed completely dry — the three-wire hoop keeps the fabric off your face even when it's really blowing. Packs down smaller than my old tent and weighs barely anything.
