To extend the life of your tent floor, we recommend using a Big Agnes footprint or ground cloth. The Big Agnes footprint also enables you to pitch a lightweight, Fast Fly shelter while leaving the tent body behind. The Fast Fly configuration requires the footprint, tent fly, poles, and stakes.

The footprint clips in perfectly and lets me set up just the fly and poles when I want to go ultralight on overnight trips. Saves a ton of weight versus lugging the full tent body along.

Snapped onto the tent corners perfectly and the grommets line up with the pole ends without any fiddling. Used it to do the Fast Fly pitch with just the fly and poles, and the whole setup came in around two pounds. Keeps the floor off the dirt too, which is the whole point.

It clips in fine with the tent's corner grommets and the Fast Fly setup actually works without the inner tent. Only gripe is it's a bit pricey for what's basically a shaped piece of fabric, but I'd rather wear this out than my tent floor.
