My shoulders used to feel cramped every time I zipped up, but the extra 7 inches of girth fixed that completely. The zipper matched my bag on the first try, which I was worried about. Slept way better on my last trip because of it.

I roll around a lot at night and always felt like my shoulders were being strangled. This thing adds a solid 7 inches of girth and now I can actually side-sleep without waking up fighting the bag.

I was skeptical about adding seven inches of shoulder girth to my mummy bag, but this expander did exactly that without any bunching at the zipper. The zipper size options made it easy to find the right fit for my setup. Camping feels way less claustrophobic now.
